Current Project:
I am currently involved in applying metabolic engineering and molecular biology strategies for specification and optimization of substrate consumption and metabolite productivity/yield by microbes. I am also involved in the characterization of microbial growth in multi-substrate media as well as the development of comprehensive models predicting such growth.
