Current Project:
Her research involves modeling of the whole-body metabolism and the incorporation of hormonal control over cellular metabolic processes to predict fuel metabolism during exercise. Such a model provides enhanced understanding of metabolic control and allows for the prediction of metabolite concentrations and flux rates in various tissues, which are difficult to assess with current technology.
