Current Project:
I am currently looking at the electron transport chain of Geobacter sulfurreducens and trying to incorporate the specific elements that allow for respiration on iron into the Escherichia coli metabolism to allow electrodes to serve as the electron donor for biosynthesis processes. This work is being done in silico and experimentally validated.
