ChemEng Alumni Reunion Brings Generations Together

On Saturday, May 31, the Department of Chemical Engineering & Applied Chemistry welcomed alumni and their families back to campus for a vibrant and heartwarming reunion in the Chem Common Room. The event offered a chance to reconnect, reflect, and celebrate the department’s dynamic community.

Throughout the afternoon, alumni engaged with current undergraduate and graduate students who shared poster presentations highlighting their research and course-based design projects. These interactions sparked thoughtful conversations, mentorship opportunities, and a renewed sense of connection between past and present members of the department.

Faculty and staff were on hand to greet returning graduates and provide tours of our laboratory spaces. It was a wonderful occasion to showcase the department’s progress while honoring its history.
