Molly Shoichet Discusses Collaborative Installation “Artful Science,” now on Display at Pearson Airport

On Wednesday, October 10th, ChemE Professor Molly Shoichet appeared on CBC’s Metro Morning to discuss “Artful Science,” a collaborative initiative between the Department of Ambiance and Aesthetics, Greater Toronto Airports Authority and her own University of Toronto Research 2 Reality team.

The exhibit, which will be on display at Toronto’s Pearson International Airport until December 2018, features a collection of 16 stem cell images, five computational biology images and three quantum physics images. The images are products of the scientific output of researchers at the University of Toronto, the University of Ottawa, Lunenfeld-Tanenbaum Research Institute in Toronto, the University of Guelph, and the University of British Columbia. The exhibit is free and open to the public.
