Once a year the Canada Council Killam Prize is bestowed on five of Canada’s top academics in five different fields. Paul Kennedy, host of CBC Radio’s Ideas, interviews this year’s winners and finds out what inspires them to break new ground. Among the winners is ChemE prof. Molly Shoichet, who talks about how ‘eureka’ moments evolve and the value of collaboration in her work.
