Professor Sefton, together with Malcolm and Alexandra King of Pewaseskwan (the Indigenous Wellness Research Group, University of Saskatchewan), recently co-authored an article in Tissue Engineering on “regenerative healing.”
This wholistic approach expands regenerative medicine to include Indigenous ways of knowing, being, and doing, emphasizing ceremonies and traditional practices that communities find beneficial.
