Funds to cover the difference between international and domestic fees

Tuition and incidental fees for international students are approximately $12,000 more than for domestic students.  The Department and the student’s supervisor covers this difference for students who are in the standard funding period and paying international fees.

MASc and PhD students receive a summary of their financial support for the year, normally in mid-September.  Ultimately, graduate students are responsible for ensuring that their own total compensation meets the minimum funding package levels, and any stipend issues should first be discussed with the student’s supervisor.

These funds are administered by the Graduate Administrator in the Student Services Office (WB216A).
