Last week, on Friday, March 21, the Department of Chemical Engineering & Applied Chemistry welcomed alumni, donors, sponsors, students, and faculty to the Inaugural ChemEng Soirée at the Myhal Centre. The evening was a vibrant celebration of our community’s achievements and an opportunity to forge new connections.
Set in a welcoming and lively atmosphere, the Soirée offered guests the chance to reconnect with old friends, expand their networks, and engage in meaningful conversations about the future of chemical engineering. From heartfelt reunions to inspiring discussions, the room was buzzing with energy and camaraderie.
A major highlight of the evening was the recognition of our many outstanding award recipients, celebrating the achievements of both students and faculty, as well as notable contributions from our alumni. Their achievements reflect the excellence and dedication that define our department, and we were proud to celebrate their contributions to the field.
We are incredibly grateful to our sponsors and donors whose support made this event possible. Your generosity enables us to continue providing exceptional opportunities for our students and advancing innovative research.
Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to the success of the Inaugural ChemEng Soirée. Your presence and participation were truly appreciated. We look forward to making next year’s event even more memorable!
