University of Waterloo Post-Doctoral Fellowship

The University of Waterloo is seeking a highly motivated Post-doctoral Fellow to join their team. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals interested in research, laboratory work, and product development.

Responsibilities:

– Conduct research activities under the guidance of principal investigator and company collaborators
– Fabricate and test prototypes in the laboratory setting
– Assist in materials and product development processes
– Perform quality control checks on experimental data
– Collaborate with team members on project planning and execution

Experience:

– Ph.D. in materials science & engineering, chemical engineering, biomedical & health science or pharmaceutical science
– Strong background in research methodologies
– Experience working in a laboratory environment
– Knowledge of product development processes
– Experience in animal studies, such as working with rat models
– preferable to have worked with or have knowledge on cellulose nanomaterials
