Ajay Kochhar (ChemE 1T3) named to list of Canada’s 2020 Clean16 leaders in sustainability

Ajay Kochhar (ChemE 1T3), President and CEO of Li-Cycle, has been named one of Canada’s 2020 Clean16 leaders in sustainability and clean technology, as part of Canada’s Clean50 Awards which are announced annually by Delta Management Group and the Clean50 organization to recognize those 50 individuals or teams, from 16 different categories, who have done the most to advance the causes of sustainability and clean capitalism in Canada over the past 2 years.

Honourees are chosen from over 700 nominees from 16 diverse categories. Li-Cycle and Ajay Kochhar competed in the Research and Development category. Ajay was recognized as one of  Canada’s Clean 50, and by being the top-ranked honouree in the Research and Development category, Ajay Kochhar is a member of the Clean16.

On October 3, 2019, Ajay Kochhar was amongst the 120 past and incoming Honourees attending Canada’s Clean50 Summit 9.0 in Toronto. The complete Clean50 list is available here, including a brief description of all honourees.
