Kimberly Watada places third at the 2022 Climate Investment Challenge

""Kimberly Watada (ChemE 2T2 + PEY Co-op), the Chair of our student chapter of the Canadian Society for Chemical Engineering (CSChE), recently competed and placed third in the finale of the Climate Investment Challenge, a graduate-level competition hosted by Imperial College in London, England.

Over one hundred teams participated in this prestigious international competition. Kimberly, an undergraduate student, successfully presented her solution of mobilizing public funds to invest in forest-management technology to mitigate wildfire impacts. A big congratulations to Kimberly on behalf of the entire department!
