The Master of Engineering (MEng) is a professional, course-based degree designed for engineers who want to enhance their career opportunities in as little as one year of full-time study.
Students build strong foundations in chemical engineering and related areas through graduate courses across U of T Engineering, and also have the opportunity to gain professional work experience via the MEng Co-op program.
Graduates are equipped with skills to stand out in technical and leadership roles in sectors such as energy, materials, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing and consulting.
MENG Emphases
Customize Your MEng by Choosing an Emphasis
Emphases are designed to help students build strong understanding and develop professional expertise in specific, high-demand areas.
MEng students can pursue up to two emphases to customize their degree.
Upon graduation, emphases are noted on transcripts.
